Your child may stay for school meals or if you prefer bring a packed lunch.
From September 2014, school dinners for Infant children are free under the new Government initiative. For Junior children school dinners cost £2.30 per day, £11.50 per week. Dinner money is due in advance and should be paid through Parentpay, our online system. The school meal always includes a drink, either juice, milk or water according to the menu.
Our menu offers a choice of meals each day.
To find out if your child is eligible for Free School Meals, please telephone 0300 123 7039 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Children having a packed lunch may bring a still, cold drink but no glass bottles or cans please. Water is always available for all children.
Infant children are provided with a mid-morning snack of either fruit or vegetables each day.
We are trying to encourage healthy eating. We would, therefore, request that you support us and send into school with Junior children snacks of fresh/dried fruit or vegetables only. No sweets please or sticky, sugary snacks which are very messy and extremely unhealthy, despite being advertised as ‘fruit’ or ‘health’ bars. Children often have difficulty opening and assembling the pre-packed ‘lunchables’ or similar so please try to avoid these if at all possible.
We are asking parents and guardians whose children go to school in the Cheshire West and Chester area, have a child in Reception, Y1 or Y2 and have an entitlement to free school meals to complete a Pupil Premium Registration Form which can be obtained from school or email benefits
From September 2014 all pupils in these year groups will be able to receive a school meal at no cost to the parent/guardian. We need to ensure that all parents/guardians that have a statutory entitlement to a free school meal complete this form. We will then be able to confirm whether the school is entitled to claim the pupil premium for your child.
