Homework

Homework is sent home on a Wednesday and due in the following Monday.  They are in a cycle of Maths, English and Discussion.  They reinforce what we have been learning in class so completing them will be beneficial.  

Part of homework in Year 4 is also to learn times tables.  It is so important they learn these off by heart and will have a formal multiplication check at the end of Year 4.  Times tables are tested every Monday.  Once the children have achieved 12/12 three times, they will be given a certificate and move onto the next times table.  

Don't forget to keep reading at home- this is a key skill that will help children to access all other areas of learning.
