Maths Focus

This half term we will be introducing composition of numbers to 10, counting past 20, doubles and odds and evens. 

Reading - Children will carry on their phonics sessions. Children will be reading CVC words and words with special friends in. 

Writing Focus - Children will be listening to familiar and unfamiliar stories.  Children carry on writing with CVC words and starting to write short sentences supported.

Topic - Growing! All the things that grow... from life cycles to the development of flowers. 

PE On a Monday afternoon we will be taking part in PE sessions. Please make sure that children have their PE kits on as they come into school.

Computing - Using ipads and programmable toys.

RE - We will be learning about the importance of the Easter story.
